There are various that practices that Jovians should participate in, these include:

1. Jovians must listen to one of the three core tracks ("Livin' on a Prayer", "You Give Love a Bad Name", and "We Weren't Born To Follow") before going to sleep every night

​

2. Jovians must have at least one poster in their room or area of work of Bon Jovi (the individual or band)

​

3. Jovians should wear an appropriate Bon Jovi shirt on Friday and only listen to the sacred texts - (Friday is the sacred day as the deity was born on a Friday)

​

4. All Jovians must not work on the deity’s birthday and only listen/watch the sacred texts and wear Bon Jovi apparel

​

5. Preferably from an early age, Jovians should be exposed to the sacred texts and begin memorising the words until they are 16 when they may devote themselves to the faith and start a tribute band

​

7. At an appropriate age Jovians should help fundraise/volunteer for the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation

​

6. It's common, though it's not required, that at some point followers will style their hair in the same fashion as Bon Jovi
