MEET THE DEITY
Jovism is a religion established on the 21st of March 2016. It follows the belief that Jon Bon Jovi is a human born diety who uses his music to share his message with people across the world. Jovism can be held alongside other beliefs as it does not state that Jon Bon Jovi is a creator God or has trancendent powers, and because the deity has connections with the Catholic church. Jovism offers no definite answer as to where or how humans came to be on this Earth. This religion is non-profit.

The Deity Jon Bon Jovi ( John Francis Bongiovi Jr.) was born in 1962 on March 2nd in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Jon Bon Jovi often skipped school as a teenager for musical oppourtunites and begun playing in pubs at age 16. His first recorded song was released when he was 17 called "R2-D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas", two years later he released his first single "Runaway" which helped to jumpstart his career/spreading of his word.

THE BIG QUESTIONS
WHERE DID WE COME FROM?
Jovism does not offer an answer as to where we came from or how we got here. The deity himself was raised Catholic and Jovism can be followed alongside other religions so it does not provide a definite answer, it is up to what each Jovian believes individually.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER DEATH?
After death a Jovian's soul may ascend on a prayer to the Lost Highway, where the individual shall have their faith tested through travelling to the Soul Kitchen. The Soul Kitchen in the metaphysical realm, is found in Soul Jersey where all Jovians are welcomed to stay for eternity. Jovians do not have to go on the journey if they follow another religion with a set afterlife.

WHY IS THERE PAIN AND SUFFERING?
Jovian's souls are still apart of their bodies prior to death/ascension, and so they are only half way there to achieving a pain free life. It is because of this that Jovians can still be affected by pain/suffering, and so must live on a prayer in order to escape it. This is demonstrated in the core track "Livin' on a Prayer" as Tommy and Gina are struggling but through love and their faith they're able to rise above their hard times.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE?
The purpose of life is to inspire others to reach their potential and help those in need to better the world. Jovians may find their purpose to follow in the deity's teachings and eventually ascend and reach the Soul Kitchen.

IS THEIR A GOD?
Jovism does not declare Jon Bon Jovi to be an all powerful God, but rather a human deity. Jovism places more importance on the practice of the faith in life and helping others.
